Work has started on 5 outdoor Padel Courts at Dulwich Sports Club, and we look forward to welcoming members to the new Dulwich Padel Club very soon.

We expect the work to be complete in August this year, and to officially open Dulwich Padel Club then.

We currently have a list of over 1000 people who have expressed interest in joining DPC when the time comes. When membership is opened, we will invite people on this list to join in the order in which they were added to the list. We expect demand to be high, but it is unlikely that everyone who has put their name down will choose to go on to join the club.

How many members will there be?

How much will it cost to join?
Full Adult Membership: £250 p.a.
Household Membership (2 adults living at the same address): £240 p.a. each
Under 25 / Full time student: £147 p.a.
Adults who are a member of more than DSC section – 10% credit.
Juniors 12 and over: £58 p.a. Juniors under 12; £33p.a.
Discounts are available to members wishing to pay 2 or 3 years subs in advance.

Dulwich Sports Club is a Registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). We welcome members from both the local area and surrounding communities to the Padel Section (Dulwich Padel Club) and are committed to promoting participation in the sport.
If you feel you cannot afford the standard membership fee due to a low or modest income, you may apply to the Padel Manager for a reduced-rate membership, which carries full membership rights, with no restrictions.
Applicants will be asked to complete a comprehensive application form, including details of your total income, so that eligibility for a concessionary membership can be assessed by the Padel Committee.

How much will the courts cost to book?
Members’ price: £22 per hour – (bookable 14 days in advance)
Non-members “pay and play”: £40 per hour – (bookable 7 days in advance)
Padel racket hire:
– Members £5 per session, non-members £7.50 per session.
Padel balls will be available for purchase at the club.

Will Padel be open to non-members?

I heard that Planning Permission has been granted – why is the opening so far off?
Planning in principle was granted in July 2025, but it has taken until this year to process all the administration for the conditions involved to turn that into the final “Decision Notice”, which we obtained in late February.
A number of pre-commencement conditions had to be fulfilled, which are now complete.
Following a renewed tender process, we appointed Trevor May contractors who started work at the end of April.
